Sheikh Abdul Qadir said, “I wanted to get closer to God, so I knocked at the ‘door of praying,’ but I found it crowded. Then I went and knocked at the ‘door of charity,’ but it was also crowded.
Next, I knocked at the ‘door of fasting,’ but it was also crowded.
Finally, I went to the ‘door of humility,’ and I found it empty.”
